The Foundation sponsors several events throughout the year to raise funds for scholarships.

Cookbook Order Form

It’s not too late to get a copy of the OCC Foundation “Food for Thought” Cookbook for only $20.00! This beautiful 3-ring binder cookbook has over 250 recipes from our award-winning Culinary Institute chefs, as well as OCC faculty, staff and retirees. It also has its very own cookbook stand, helpful cooking hints, and easy to read dividers.

All proceeds from the cookbook will go to fund scholarships for OCC students.

 New!  Cookbooks now can be ordered securely online through PayPal* (more info). To purchase a cookbook, select your shipping method (note that if interoffice is selected, we will contact you to confirm the delivery location), and click the “Buy Now” button. You will then be transferred directly over to PayPal to complete your transaction. If you are requesting your cookbook to be mailed via U.S. mail, please allow 7 – 10 days for delivery.

The Annual OCC Foundation Scholarship Luncheon

The Annual OCC Foundation Scholarship Luncheon is hosted every Spring at the Orchard Ridge Campus to bring together scholarship donors and recipients to tell their stories, recognize generosity and celebrate accomplishment.

"Golf for Scholarships" Outing

Oakland Community College "Golf for Scholarships" Outing is held each August. Course games and prizes combine with great golf and networking to produce a sold-out event each year. Proceeds from this event provide a minimum of twelve full-tuition scholarships each year.

All gifts to the OCC Foundation are eligible for federal tax deductions and the Michigan State Tax Credit. The Foundation is governed by its Board of Directors, comprised of volunteer community leaders, representatives of the OCC Board of Trustees, administration and faculty.
