Radiation Therapy
What is a Radiation Therapist?
A Radiation Therapist, under the supervision of a radiation oncology
physician (cancer specialist), administers radiation therapy services to
patients. The therapist provides appropriate procedures to patients, maintains
pertinent records and exercises judgment in the administration of prescribed
courses of treatment, tumor localization and dosimetry (the measurement
and distribution of radiation). Graduates of this program will be eligible
