Academic Testing Center
The Academic Testing Centers strive to deliver quality-testing services to OCC's current and prospective students. They also make every effort to maintain the security and credibility of all exams by promoting a secure and stress-free testing environment.
The Academic Testing Centers proctor a variety of exams, including the ALEKS Math Placement exam, the Biology Proficiency exam, the Duolingo English Test, as well as some online, extended time and make-up exams initiated by instructor request.
Operating hours: Mon-Thurs (8:30 AM – 8:00 PM), Fri (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
Placement Testing Times (ALEKS PPL Math, BIO, Duolingo)
- Mon-Thurs: 10 AM, 2 PM, 5 PM
- Fri: 10 AM, 2 PM
- Limited Hours (Feb 24 – Feb 28): 10 AM, 2 PM only
- Closed: Saturdays, Sundays, and observed holidays (check OCC's Academic Calendar for details).
ALEKS PPL Math Placement walk-ins are accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Biology Placement and the Duolingo English Test require an appointment.
Academics Testing Times (Course Make-up & Online)
- Mon-Thurs: 9 AM to 7 PM
- Fri: 9 AM to 4 PM
- Limited Hours (Feb 24 – Feb 28): 9 AM to 4 PM only.
- Closed: Saturdays, Sundays, and observed holidays (check OCC's Academic Calendar for details).
Walk-ins are accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Exams must be on file to permit students to test.
