Career Services is always looking to connect, engage and partner with Employers through:
- Internships are tied to a student’s academic program and often resulting in the granting of college credit, employers may observe potential hires and assess their performance in the workplace for between 40 and 600 hours.
- Micro–internships are short-term project – based assignments that are similar to those given to new hires or interns. Participating in micro–internships help students explore different career paths while building their professional portfolio, expanding their network, and developing their skills as students seek the right full – time role.
- Apprenticeships are a talent development strategy that combines on – the – job learning (OJL), related instruction (RI), and mentorship to train individuals to be experts in their field. To learn more about Apprenticeships click here.
- Career Opportunities (job shadowing, guest speakers, capstone projects)
On Campus Recruiting (OCR)
- Employers have the ability to conduct on-site recruitment and screening of prospective employees
- OCR is from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm or 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at one, or more, of our campuses during Fall and Winter Semesters
- Allows for targeted recruitment based upon students' majors and campus location
