Policy Statement

The Vice Chair shall:

  • Be a duly elected member of the Board.
  • Serve as the interim Board Chair in the event that the Board Chair is unable to serve. The interim Board Chair shall have the same duties and authority to act as the Board Chair.
  • In the event the Board Chair becomes unable to serve on a permanent basis, the Board shall elect a permanent replacement to serve the remainder of the Board Chair’s term at its next publicly noticed Board meeting.
  • Perform other duties as may be prescribed by law or authorized and directed by the Board.
