Women's History Month
Throughout the United States, Women’s History Month is celebrated in March to highlight and honor the vital role of women in history and today. This time corresponds with International Women's Day on March 8 and provides all of us an opportunity to learn about and build upon those achievements all year long.
Join us throughout March as we celebrate inspirational women whose contributions positively impact our culture and community each day.
Check back as we provide feature stories and activities to celebrate and learn more.
- Celebration: Empowered Women of OCC – OCC employees and students reflect on the women of OCC who empower and inspire others.
- Activity: Get to know the women at OCC by playing bingo! Download the bingo card for a chance to win a prize. All you need to do is write the name of a woman who fits the statement in each square and email the card to DEIJ@oaklandcc.edu by March 29.
