Course Description:
The course is designed to provide baseline and advanced skillsets for officers / agents to conduct personnel security operations.
Days 1 & 2 - Risk Assessments, Protection Planning & Arrival/Deployment from Vehicles
- Day 1 Intro Proactive protection and PSD Concepts (Roles & Responsibilities)
- Assessing Risk / Principal expectations
- Skill Baseline
- Protection Planning (Facilities, Site & Route Recon)
- Arrivals & Departures from Vehicles
- Team Formations & Verbiage
Days 3 & 4 - Team & Principal Movement, Stimulus Response, Room Control & Movement
- Principal Protection inside Internal / External of a structure
- Isolation Drills (Principal Protection)
- Vehicle Formations
- Breaking contacts & link-up procedures
Day 5 - Tactics, Techniques & Procedures (TTP) Procedures
- Final Training Exercises: “Force-on-Force” Scenarios
Required Equipment:
Primary/Secondary Weapon system, Weapon sling (rifle) & Retention; Duty Vest; Belt; Operational loadout, Communications (Optional); Clear (approved for range) eye protection; Long sleeves, Gloves (Optional); Manual Breaching Equipment (Optional); Additional Supplemental Equipment for Team; “Chem lights” Blue / Red (Optional); Notepad, pen and Planning Aids for Day 3 (Optional)
