OAKLAND COUNTY, Michigan — If you’re about to begin your career or want to take the next step, it can seem as if the hardest job you’ll ever have is actually getting the job. But you don’t have to leave it up to trial and error and rejection.
You can sharpen your career readiness skills by taking advantage of the free Career Empowerment Day at OCC from 3 to 7 p.m. April 2 at the Royal Oak campus of Oakland Community College.
Students from OCC, Oakland University, Wayne State University and Walsh College are invited to take advantage of this opportunity to empower yourself and enhance your professional opportunities.
Among the highlights of Career Empowerment Day at OCC:
- Have a free studio head shot taken for use on your LinkedIn page. Just remember to dress in business attire.
- Have your resume critiqued by the region’s top hiring professionals and improve your interviewing skills — both also for free.
Also free: Free parking at the Royal Oak campus parking structure.
