Auburn Hills, Mich. — Governor Gretchen Whitmer will continue her “Home for Opportunity Tour” at Oakland
Community College in Auburn Hills. She will tour the College’s Advanced Technology
Center, Michigan Technical Education Center and skilled trades labs to learn about
their programs focused on high-demand fields which provide local industries with skilled
workers.
Governor Whitmer, Lt. Governor Gilchrist and cabinet members are committed to speaking with businesses and college leaders about the challenges facing Michigan and their collective efforts to solve them. The “Home for Opportunity Tour,” comprised of 50 events across Michigan, is designed to maximize outreach and engagement by reaching every corner of Michigan, from Marquette to Detroit.
