OCC Hosts Oakland County’s Tech Collaboration Event Nov. 7 that Connects Business Leaders with Higher Education Institutions

Oakland County’s “Tech Collaboration Series” will make a stop at Oakland Community College’s Auburn Hills campus for a Nov. 7 event that will provide business leaders with insight on how they can take advantage of the College’s technical programs, resources and services.   

Robotics

The event is designed for Oakland County businesses in IT and Computer Services, Robotics Integration and Engineering and Design industries. 

During the event, representatives from OCC’s Engineering, Manufacturing and Industrial Technology (EMIT) programs will discuss degrees and certificates available in the technical area. They also will explain how businesses can take advantage of the College’s Economic Workforce Development programs including short-term training, custom training solutions, apprenticeships, and other ways for business and education to collaborate.     

A panel discussion and networking session will be part of the event, and a tour of OCC’s EMIT facilities will be available for business leaders after the event concludes.
