Temperatures are warming up and the excitement of riding is in the air. Motorcycle season is upon us. Just in time, OCC’s popular Motorcycle Safety courses for both beginner and experienced riders are back as well now through June on the College’s Auburn Hills campus.

Basic Rider Course

This three-day class is for the beginning rider who has minimal experience operating a motorcycle.  Classes are held throughout May and June beginning May 13. Successful completion of this course and its knowledge and skills test will result in a riding test waiver by the Secretary of State.

Basic Rider Course 2-Experienced Riders

This one day course is held on June 18 and is designed for the experienced, but unendorsed rider to become licensed and legal, or for already endorsed riders to refresh and improve their skills. Successful completion allows a student to waive the Secretary of State written and riding skills tests.

The course fee for either course is $50.  For complete course information and to register, visit https://www.oaklandcc.edu/ce/motorcycle-safety.aspx
