Celebrate the emergence of spring with an opportunity to attend three free musical performances showcasing the incredible talent of Oakland Community College (OCC) students.

Invite friends and family members to these OCC events:
- Music Student Showcase on April 9, 7:30 p.m. OCC music students perform a variety of live musical selections at the Lila Jones-Johnson Theater on OCC’s Royal Oak Campus, 739 S. Washington Avenue, Royal Oak.
- Jazz Band Concert on April 17, 7:30 p.m. OCC’s Jazz Band, under the direction of faculty member Tom Dennis, performs a wide variety of music from the 1930s to present arranged for “Big Band” with a vocalist. The concert takes place at the OCC's Royal Oak Campus in the Lila Jones-Johnson Theatre, 739 S. Washington Avenue, Royal Oak.
- Symphony Band Concert on April 25, 7:30 p.m. Enjoy new and classic band repertoire performed by the OCC Symphony Band featuring outstanding local musicians and students from all OCC campuses. This performance takes place at the Student Center Arena on OCC’s Highland Lakes Campus, 7350 Cooley Lake Rd., Waterford.
“Our student musicians work hard to prepare for these live concerts,” said OCC Faculty Member Tom Dennis. “Practicing in class and at home is important. But there is nothing more gratifying than performing before a live audience.”
Parking is free for all events, and reservations or tickets are not required.
