Learn About Health Sciences, Advanced Manufacturing and Arts, Culinary and Humanities Programs
Join Oakland Community College in March and April to learn more about three popular areas of study and in-demand fields: Health Sciences; Advanced Manufacturing; and Arts, Culinary and Humanities.
OCC Health Sciences Open House is on Thursday, March 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at OCC’s Southfield Campus.
Meet with OCC faculty, staff and students, tour classrooms and labs, attend information sessions, and engage in demonstrations and hands-on activities as you explore exciting short-term training, degree and certificate options in Health Sciences. Featured programs include Allied Health Short-Term Training, Dental Hygiene, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Emergency Medical Services, Health Care Administration, Medical Assistant, Mental Health/Social Work, Nursing, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy and Surgical Technology.

Advanced Manufacturing is on Wednesday, March 26 from 6-7:30 p.m. at OCC Auburn Hills Campus--M Building.
Meet with employers, instructors and successful graduates of OCC’s short-term training programs to learn about the skills, knowledge and certifications required for a successful start in the manufacturing field. OCC's short-term training options prepare you in 14 weeks or less for high-demand jobs including Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machine Operator, Electric Vehicle (EV) Technician or Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Robotic Technician. Information about potential funding through Oakland County Michigan Works and application process will also be discussed.

Arts, Culinary and Humanities is on Thursday, April 3 from 6-8 p.m. at OCC’s Royal Oak Campus
At this Open House event, participants will learn about the wide range of Arts, Culinary and Humanities programs available at OCC. Meet with OCC faculty, staff and students, tour classrooms and labs, attend information sessions, and engage in demonstrations and hands-on activities. Featured area of study include Culinary Arts, Cinematic Arts, Fine Arts/Visual, Graphic Design, Humanities, Interior Design, Music, Photography and Theatre.
