Policy Statement
Guest Admission is granted for a limited period of time to students whose home institution is one other than Oakland Community College, whether it is a high school, college or university.

Definitions and Resources

High School Dual Enrollment: Current high school students in ninth grade or higher are eligible to attend as dual-enrollment students. Written permission from a parent/guardian on the appropriate OCC authorization form is required. dual/

Early College Student: Students selected to participate in an early college program have the opportunity to concurrently attend high school and college over multiple years, often concluding in Grade 13. These students pursue a high school diploma and a college degree simultaneously.

College Guest Student: A student from another college or university who desires to attend Oakland Community College for a single semester prior to returning to his/her institution. Only students who provide written permission from their home institution will be granted Guest Admission.
