OCC Mascot Branding

OCC's mascot, Talon the Owl, is the embodiment of our school spirit and brand promise. Our owl is strong, determined, welcoming, and a leader who helps empower excellence in the OCC community.

Talon Image

Talon the Owl is OCC’s official mascot and must be treated with reverence. Adequate space must be provided around the mascot image for optimal legibility. The mascot image may only be shown in full color (as shown below), brand green, white or black. No other colors will be accepted.

There are a multitude of versions of the mascot image which are used circumstantially, based on design and medium compatibility. The versions below represent four categories of the mascot – full body, mascot – head, claw mascot and, type only.

Talon was designed to support the OCC brand, not replace it.

Colors

OCC’s mascot color palette is pulled directly from the College’s official color palette. Tints and shades of these colors are also used. Materials using Talon should adhere to this color scheme to maintain consistency in the presentation of OCC’s mascot brand.

The legibility of text must be a critical consideration when using color. ADA compliance must be maintained at all times.
