About the Archives

The OCC Archives exist to collect and preserve OCC’s rich past and present. We are the home for OCC’s official and departmental records, historical documents, photographs and publications. The Archives support the informational needs of the entire OCC Community: students, faculty, staff and alumni. 

The Archives manage a variety of both physical and digital collections beginning with the founding of the College through the present day. Collections include committee meeting minutes, accreditation documents, institutional reports, and historical and long-running publications. Featured collections include:

Donate to the OCC Archives

The mission of the OCC Archives is to collect and preserve materials that trace the origins, organization, policies, and development of Oakland Community College. We welcome materials that document and depict the activities and functions of our entire College community, including but not limited to:

  • Official Records
  • College and Student Publications
  • Reports
  • Photographs
  • Video
  • Audio
  • Meeting Minutes
  • Flyers
  • Personal Papers
  • Maps
  • Student/Faculty/Staff Organizations, etc.

Public records, not subject to exemption, may be requested through FOIA. A FOIA processing fee may be requested.
