OCC will hold an information session on Nov. 8 that provides insight on a 10-week training program qualifying participants for a job as a Computer Support Technician in the high-demand technology industry.
The Computer Science Technician (CST) Information Session will be held Wednesday, Nov. 8, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., on OCC’s Auburn Hills campus. Attendees will learn about OCC’s 10-week CST training program curriculum and job opportunities in the field. Presenters will also discuss how to qualify for possible tuition funding and previous students will provide tips to achieve success.
The next CST training session runs from Jan. 22 through March 29, 2024. The training will focus on CompTIA, customer service, business and technical writing, and the Mike Rowe Work Ethic and Workplace Skills. Individuals who complete the training can earn additional technology certifications including CompTIA ITF+, CompTIA A+, the National Customer Service Association Certified Customer Service Professional and Mike Rowe Work Ethic.
