Career opportunities in the skilled trades continue to grow, and Oakland Community College is hosting a Skilled Trades Open House Dec. 5 to provide information about the numerous programs available to help students prepare for these high-paying jobs.
During the Skilled Trades Open House, attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Meet with members of OCC’s Engineering, Manufacturing and Industrial Technologies team and skilled trades faculty
- Browse classrooms and labs
- Attend program information sessions
- View demonstrations and participate in hands-on activities
- Learn about apprenticeships and short-term training
- Speak with employers and transfer school representatives
