Policy Statement
The College administers programs of assistance for students which include loans, scholarships,
grants, veteran's benefits, and part-time student employment. The Office of Student
Financial Resources and Scholarships establishes procedures and follows College, federal
and state regulations in the
administration of all financial assistance programs.
The programs are defined as follows:
Educational/Student Loans -Money borrowed which must be repaid with interest to the federal
government or private sources; such as a bank or financial institution.
Scholarships– Aid that does not have to be repaid.
Grants-Aid that does not have be repaid. Grants are awarded on the basis of financial need.
Student Employment-Part-time work on campus and in off-campus approved agencies.
Financial Assistance –General information and appropriate links to other financial aid resources.
