They represent Oakland Community College at 100's of events and tours each year, connecting with students and families by sharing their experiences that have empowered their learning and supported their futures.

Recruiters

How Do I Earn Service Hours?

  • Support Admissions Coordinators at pre-scheduled recruitment events.
  • Attend all training and team meetings each semester.
  • Assist with designated College events and Campus Tours.
  • Participate in OCC's Commencement Ceremony.

How do I Earn a Scholarship?

  • Complete a minimum of 50 service hours per semester.
  • Fall and winter semesters are required.
  • Summer semester hours may be available

Student Recruiter Application Form

Qualifications:
  • Earned a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
  • Available to complete 100 service hours during Fall and Winter semesters in addition to any current academic, work and/or personal commitments
  • Access to reliable transportation and willingness to staff college-wide and other regional events
  • Enrolled in a minimum of one (1) credits each semester while serving as a Student Recruiter
