Live at Oakland University, As an OCC Student

Starting Fall of 2024, Oakland University will open their residences to OCC students. Oakland University  (OU) is only five minutes away from OCC’s Auburn Hills campus with additional access to OCC's campuses throughout Oakland County. This is a great option for students looking for a place to live while attending OCC.

Transportation 

The Smart Bus route between Oakland University and the OCC Auburn Hills campus is covered by the 790 Pontiac Crosstown. “Eastbound” goes from OU to OCC, so “Westbound” goes from OCC back to OU. There’s also the 492, which connects OU to Oakland Mall, downtown Royal Oak and the new State Fairgrounds bus terminal, where you could take a DDOT transfer to Downtown Detroit/Woodward Corridor.
