Digital Content Developer Technician: Integrating with Swift & Python

Jobs in the programming and marketing fields in the state of Michigan are in high-demand. Training for the program will include classes related to CompTIA Tech+, Swift iOS programming, Python programming, intro to AI, digital marketing, writing and soft skills classes to prepare you for a job in the industry. Individuals typically can start their career as junior app developer, front end developer, content creator, marketing assistant, and similar roles.

  • Average entry-level wage range (marketing):  $16 - 20 per hour
  • Average entry-level wage range (IT):  $30+ per hour

Program Information

  • Days/Times:  Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Program Length:  11 weeks
  • Location:  Auburn Hills Campus
  • Cost:  $7,000*
  • *Note:  A limited amount of funding might available with Michigan Works. However, the majority of the cost will need to be paid out of pocket.

What to Expect

  • Focus:  CompTIA Tech+, Swift iOS programming, Python programming, Intro to AI, Principles of Digital Marketing, Writing for Business, Persuasion, Creativity, and Workplace Skills
  • Certifications:  CompTIA Tech+, App Development with Swift – Associate and PCAP™ Certified Associate Python Programmer
  • Employer Partner:  Securely Managed and ThinkDigits

Application Requirements

  • U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen
  • 17 years of age or older
  • Non currently registered in school within a local educational agency
  • Registered with the Selective Service (if applicable)
  • Unemployed or underemployed
  • Other eligibility factors may apply
  • Attend an information session
  • Complete the application process – apply for Michigan Works! funding or pay out of pocket
